Wilshere sends heartfelt message to Welbeck on Twitter

Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has been ruled out of action for nine months.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a heartfelt message to his teammate Danny Welbeck.

Welbeck has been ruled out of all action for nine months following knee surgery. The England international striker had only recently returned from a long-term injury, and the latest setback must be a massive blow to him.

Wilshere has taken to Twitter to send a heartfelt message to his England international and Arsenal teammate Welbeck, with France international striker Olivier Giroud also wishing him well.

Wilshere has suffered with injuries in recent years, and he has only just returned from a long-term problem. The 24-year-old midfielder is still far from his best, but he is gradually getter better.

As for Welbeck, the former Manchester United striker will be bitterly disappointed with the latest setback.

The 25-year-old striker scored four goals and created seven chances in 11 Premier League appearances for Arsenal this season.

Welbeck has sent a simple message on Twitter, claiming that he will be back stronger.
