A Tottenham XI were beaten 4-3 by Rangers in a behind closed doors friendly.
Rangers beat a young Tottenham team 4-3 yesterday in a behind closed door friendly arranged between the two teams.
The Gers requested the friendly as they have had a three week gap between their last league game and the Scottish Cup final against Hibernian, and wanted a competitive fixture to stay fit.
With Tottenham's season still ongoing, their side was made up of young players, including Grant Ward, whose Championship campaign with Rotherham United wrapped up at the weekend.
Ward was one of three players picked out by Tottenham head of player development John McDermott for praise, via the official club website.
He said: "I was pleased with Shayon Harrison – he impressed along with Will Miller while Grant Ward came back after playing 90 minutes in his final game on loan at Rotherham at the weekend and I thought he was exemplary.
"He was our senior player and I was really pleased with his approach and how he led our team. Most of the players came out in credit in a very, very tough game for us."
Central midfielder Ward was handed a new contract by Spurs earlier in the season and will hope to make an impact in pre-season to show he can fight for a first team spot.
January addition Shilow Tracey was among the players to feature, with Shayon Harrison and Cy Goddard (2) scoring the goals.
