Report: West Ham want four new signings in these positions, Nordtveit deal already agreed

West Ham are reportedly looking to make a host of new signings.

According to the Daily Mail, West Ham want to sign a right back, winger and two striker during the summer transfer window, with Havard Nordtveit arriving to strengthen the midfield.

The Hammers signed off in style at Upton Park on Tuesday night, beating Manchester United 3-2 in a dramatic Premier League clash - the final one at their famous Boleyn Ground.

With a move to the Olympic Stadium on the horizon, West Ham are expected to make moves in the transfer market - and the positions they will look to strengthen have been revealed.

The Daily Mail report that West Ham want four new signings this summer, having already agreed a deal to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Havard Nordtveit on a free transfer.

It's claimed that West Ham want to sign a right back to add some competition for January signing Sam Byram, as loanee Carl Jenkinson is injured and has returned to Arsenal, whilst Byram's own injury has forced Michail Antonio to play out of position.

Additionally, it's suggested that West Ham also want to bring in another winger, with Victor Moses set to return to Chelsea after a disappointing loan spell and more depth required out wide.

Finally, West Ham are believed to be targeting two new strikers, with Arsenal's Theo Walcott, Marseille's Michy Batshuayi, Leicester City's Jamie Vardy, Liverpool's Christian Benteke, Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette and Manchester City's Wilfried Bony all on the Hammers' radar.

It's likely that West Ham will spend big on one striker and bring in another on a cut-price deal, providing competition for the likes of Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho.
