Report: Barcelona put Sandro Ramirez up for sale at £8m, Spurs have long-term interest

Barcelona are reportedly planning to sell forward Sandro Ramirez this summer.

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona are putting forward Sandro Ramirez up for sale at just £8m - and Spurs are believed to have a strong interest.

Sandro, 20, joined Barcelona from his hometown club Las Palmas back in 2009, moving to the famed La Masia academy when he was aged just 14.

The forward has made his way up through the ranks at the Camp Nou, scoring 15 goals in 61 games for the B team, and then adding seven goals in 31 games for the first-team squad.

However, he has fallen out of favour under Luis Enrique this season, and now looks set to leave the Spanish giants for pastures new this summer.

Catalan newspaper Sport report that Barcelona have put Sandro up for sale, want would want just £8m for the Spanish Under-21 star's signature this summer.

It's noted that Tottenham have a long-term interest in signing Sandro, and could move for him again this summer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to find more attacking players around Harry Kane.

Capable of playing out wide or up front, Sandro is a versatile attacker who has great potential at the age of just 20, and at just £8m, he could be a real bargain for Spurs - but it's also claimed that other unnamed English clubs would also be keen on Sandro too, meaning a real transfer battle could spark come the end of the season.
