David Moyes has been tipped to be one of Celtic's top top managerial targets.
Moyes has been touted as a potential replacement for Ronny Deila, with the Norwegian set to leave Parkhead at the end of the current campaign.
Deila has failed to win over the supporters of the Glasgow side, despite delivering two Scottish Premiership titles during his two seasons in charge.
Moyes has been a popular choice amongst Celtic fans, but Brown does not feel that the former Manchester United boss would be too keen to move to the Bhoys.
"Davie is in a different world now,” Brown said.
“If you want Davie to go to Celtic, it would need to be on the basis that he has made so much money that it’s not important anymore and he just fancies doing the job.”
Moyes has previously refused to rule out moving to Celtic, but he has also not confirmed his interest.
The Scottish boss has been out of work since leaving Real Sociedad back in 2015.
Moyes has managed the likes of Preston North End, Everton and Manchester United during his career to date.
Moyes’ main rivals for the Celtic job appear to be Neil Lennon, Michael O’Neill and Roy Keane.
