Jack Collison reacts on Twitter to Sam Allardyce heroics

Jack Collison has taken to social networking site Twitter to praise Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce.

The former West Ham United and Ipswich Town midfielder has been impressed with the way Allardyce has kept the Black Cats in the Premier League.

Sunderland got the better of Everton 3-0 at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday evening to secure their place in the English top flight next season.

Collision worked with Allardyce at West Ham, and he has expressed his admiration at the former Newcastle United manager’s heroics.

When Allardyce was appointed the Sunderland manager back in October, the Black Cats looked set for relegation to the Championship.

The Englishman has done a remarkable job at the Stadium of Light, and keeping the Black Cats up is one of his greatest achievements as a manager.

It will be interesting to see how Sunderland approach next season and the players they sign in the summer transfer window.

For the last few years, the Black Cats have become also-rans in the Premier League. Perhaps it is time for Sunderland to show some ambition and aim for the top 10 next season.
