Star Wars: Episode VIII will come to a screen near you next year.
While Star Wars: The Force Awakens was a welcome return to the magic of the original trilogy, it also contained a whole host of celebrity cameos, with some easier to spot than others.
And if the latest report from makingstarwars.net is true, the next instalment could have more of the same.
After Daniel Craig played a Stormtrooper in J. J. Abrams offering, it is now being claimed that Tom Hardy will do the same in the upcoming Episode VIII, which is being directed by Rian Johnson.
While that is big news in itself, especially for Hardy fans, makingstarwars.net has even gone so far as to suggest how the scene involving the 38-year-old will play out.
For those who want to remain surprised, you should stop reading now, but for everyone else here are the details in condensed form:
Hardy plays a First Order Stormtrooper who bumps into Finn and, rather than killing him for absconding, instead believes he has infiltrated the Resistance and is operating as a spy.
The alleged scene continues the comedic air of The Force Awakens, which was at its best whenever Finn, played by Jon Boyega, was on screen.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is due for release in December 2017.
