Sheffield Wednesday open their play off campaign on Friday evening.
Wednesday have been backed in large numbers this season, with fans flocking back to Hillsborough to watch their side.
The Owls have had their most successful season for some time, with Chansiri’s investment certainly paying dividends.
The Thai businessman has handed Yorkshire side a large amount of funds, which has brought a lot of quality to the club.
Wednesday have gone from a side which finished in mid table last season, to one who have made it into the play offs this time around.
Wednesday take on Brighton & Hove Albion in the first-leg of the promotion deciding fixtures on Friday evening.
And Chansiri said: “I outlined my ambition to return our great club to the top tier when I completed the takeover in February 2015 so to be in this position, only three games away, just 15 months later gives me a significant sense of pride and achievement.
“But taking Sheffield Wednesday to this point of the season could not have been done without the commitment, knowledge and diligence of everyone connected to our club.
“From the players and coaches to the staff around Hillsborough and Middlewood Road, and not least our unbelievable supporters, this journey so far has not been possible without you.”
Wednesday head into the play offs as the outsiders to win promotion, after finishing in sixth place in the Championship table.
The Owls have won just once in their last six outings, but Carvalhal’s side have proven their quality on numerous occasions this term, and they will be looking to cause an upset against Brighton.
