Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga suggests that West Ham United winger Michail Antonio should be part of the England squad for the Euro 2016 finals.

Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga has suggested on social networking site Twitter that West Ham United winger Michail Antonio should be part of the England squad for the Euro 2016 finals.

Antonio joined West Ham from Championship side Forest in the summer of 2015. The 26-year-old winger took some time to adapt to the Premier League, but he is now one the best players at the Hammers.

The former Sheffield Wednesday man has scored seven goals and created 20 chances in 25 Premier League appearances for West Ham this season.

Antonio has a pass accuracy of 69% and a shot accuracy of 45%, and has won 38 headers, 44 dribbles and 25 tackles.

Assombalonga, who played with Antonio at Forest, has suggested that the winger has done enough to earn a place in the England squad at the Euro 2016 finals in the summer.

Antonio is having a good season, but it is doubtful that England head coach Roy Hodgson will consider him for a place in the team.
