West Ham United are planning to make some ambitious moves in the summer transfer window.

According to a report in the London Evening Standard, Southampton forward Sadio Mane is on West Ham United’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

Mane has been linked with the likes of Manchester United recently, but West Ham believe that they can start competing with England’s biggest clubs for players now.

The Hammers are on the verge of a move to the Olympic Stadium, and they could have European football on offer next term.

As a result, West Ham are starting to discuss ambitious targets and Mane is seen as a potential addition.

Mane has become one of Southampton’s key players since arriving back in 2014, and he has scored 14 goals in all competitions this season.

West Ham are also believed to be lining up a bid for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

Vardy has enjoyed a wonderful season, with his goals being a major reason behind Leicester winning the Premier League.

However, West Ham feel that they could tempt Vardy to the Olympic Stadium and they are reportedly considering making a bid in the coming days.
