The Hammers may have enjoyed a superb campaign under manager Bilic, but one area that West Ham need to strengthen this summer is in attack.
Andy Carroll has been effective when he's been fully fit, but his repeated injuries are a major problem, whilst Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia have failed to impress this term.
With loan forward Emmanuel Emenike heading back to Fenerbahce this summer, Bilic needs to find a consistent goalscorer for West Ham to continue progressing - and money should be available given that West Ham are moving to the Olympic Stadium, and will receive money from the new Premier League TV deal.
According to The Mirror, West Ham will make a £25m bid to sign Liverpool misfit Christian Benteke this week, with the Belgian struggling to find top form at Anfield.
Benteke, 25, made a huge move from Aston Villa to Liverpool last summer having smashed 49 goals in 101 games for Villa, but with only nine goals in 38 games, Benteke has failed to impress under both Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp.
Now though, the giant forward could be offered a route out of Anfield, with West Ham keen - and it's claimed that manager Bilic has some big plans for Benteke.
The report suggests that Bilic believes Benteke will thrive at West Ham, where the Croatian has a plan to play to his strengths, which would no doubt involve getting crosses into the box and allowing Benteke to use his size and aerial ability - much like Carroll has done at West Ham this season.
With a plan in mind from Bilic, Benteke could be making a great career move by heading to the Olympic Stadium this summer - but with West Ham also keen on Marseille's Michy Batshuayi, there are no guarantees of a move for Benteke just yet.
