A pair of England internationals paid a visit to injured Derby County midfielder George Thorne on Monday.
The Rams star suffered a double leg break in Saturday's Championship finale against Ipswich Town and will miss his side's upcoming play-off campaign as a result.
"Thanks to my boys for paying a visit after my successful operation last night," posted Thorne, who is expected to return in August at the earliest.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who played in various England youth teams with Thorne, was recently delivered a blow of his own after Arsene Wenger, his manager at Arsenal, revealed he had "no chance" of playing at Euro 2016 following a training ground injury.
Jenkinson is also out of contention, having suffered a "significant" knee injury while on loan to West Ham United, prompting his early return to the Emirates Stadium.
Derby, who face fourth-placed Hull City in the play-offs, were recently boosted by the return to fitness of another midfielder Will Hughes, while two more, Jeff Hendrick and Bradley Johnson, could return to the starting line-up for Saturday's semi-final first leg.
