The North London outfit are having a great season and are likely to finish second in the Premier League.
Spurs, who were in the race for the league title until recently, narrowly missed out on a top-four finish in the table last season.
Under head coach Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham have progressed massively over the past two years.
France international goalkeeper Lloris has underlined the shift in mentality of the players in the past two seasons.
The 29-year-old former Lyon star has also assured the fans that Tottenham will be challenging for the Premier League title next season.
“We will be ready to compete again from the start of next season because we are aware of our potential,” Lloris told The London Evening Standard. “The improvement we have made over the last couple of years is amazing. The manager (Mauricio Pochettino) and his staff have brought a lot to the team and the players. We have changed the mentality of the club.
“We have added hunger, desire, passion and emotion to our game and that is what will help us achieve things in the future. When you have a young team with those qualities, you have the perfect mix and I think we are heading in the right direction.”
Tottenham have a very young squad, and things are looking bright for the North London outfit.
At White Hart Lane, Pochettino has built a team in his own image, and Spurs fans can be optimistic of great things to come from the side in the coming years.
