Manchester United slipped to a disappointing defeat to West Ham last night, conceding two late goals to undo their good work.
Anthony Martial had scored twice for United to put them 2-1 before they went onto lose 3-2, but it was another Red Devils striker who caught the eye of pundit Gary Lineker.
The former Spurs and Leicester star, and Match of the Day pundit singled out Marcus Rashford for praise, commenting that he is more impressed with the teenager each time he watches him.
The more I see of Marcus Rashford the more I like him. Very mature footballing brain for one so young.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) May 10, 2016
Rashford has broken into United's first team this season and scored regularly, memorably netting a brace against Arsenal on his Premier League debut.
He played a part in Martial's first goal, laying the ball onto Juan Mata to cross for the Frenchman to fire home.
Euro 2016 looks like it will come too soon for the youngster, but this campaign has given him plenty on which to build, and will have been beyond his wildest expectations.
