Elliot Lee is back at West Ham United from his loan spell at Colchester United.

West Ham United striker Elliot Lee has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a heartfelt message to the Colchester United fans.

Lee joined Colchester on loan from Premier League outfit West Ham in the January transfer window.

Now that the season for the U’s is finished, the 21-year-old has taken to Twitter to express his appreciation of the club.

John McGreal’s side will play in League Two next season after getting relegated from League One. Colchester ended the 2015-16 League One campaign second from bottom in the table.

Lee has taken to Twitter to wish the club the best of luck for bouncing back to the third tier of English football at the end of the 2016-17 season.

The West Ham youngster has also commented on his own future on Instagram, as his current contract with the London outfit runs out in June 2016.

It will be interesting to see what West Ham decide regarding the future of Lee, who is out of contract in the summer.

The 21-year-old is a very talented striker, but he has not been able to make a huge impact for the Hammers’ first team.
