Rangers are set to play Tottenham in a friendly this week.
The young defender is on loan from Spurs at Ibrox this season, having joined for the season back in August.
He has proved a smart capture too, playing a big part in their title winning campaign and return to the Scottish Premiership.
This week will see him go up against his parent club, as Rangers travel south to play a Spurs XI behind closed doors to help Mark Warburton’s side prepare for the Scottish Cup final.
Ball is excited for the game, saying it is ideal for the Scottish side as they share a similar style of football to Spurs.
“They play a similar sort of style to what we play, and I think that is perfect for us before the Hibernian Cup Final,” he told rangers.co.uk.
“It’s great to get a game during this three week ‘break’ and this will be a good test that will benefit us massively.”
The game certainly comes at an ideal time for Mark Warburton’s side given the gap between their final game and the cup final.
That is threatening to ruin their hopes in the final as the players may have fallen out of their best form in the three-week gap.
Warburton is keen to avoid that, and will be hoping whichever XI Tottenham put out, they come and play as they have in their fine Premier League campaign to ensure his side get up to scratch.
