Departing Wolves player posts heartfelt message on Twitter, Graham and Wallace respond

Aaron McCarey will leave Wolverhampton Wanderers when his contract runs out in the summer.

Aaron McCarey has taken to social networking site Twitter to bid a fond farewell to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

McCarey, who has been on the books of Wolves since January 2010, will leave the Championship outfit in the summer.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper’s current deal with Wolves runs out at the end of June, and the club have announced on their official website that they will not renew his contract.

The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has taken to Twitter to post a heartfelt message to everyone at Wolves.

A number of Wolves players, including 22-year-old attacking midfielder Jed Wallace and 21-year-old winger Jordan Graham, have wished McCarey well on his future on Twitter.

McCarey is among a number of players who will be released by Wolves when their respective contracts with the Championship club run out in the summer.

Zeli Ismail, Liam McAlinden, Bjorn Sigurdarson, Razak Boukari and Tommy Rowe have also been released by Kenny Jackett's side.

Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez will return to Arsenal following his loan spell at Molineux, while Wolves will not take up the option to sign Cardiff City-owned striker Adam Le Fondre on a permanent contract.
