Chris Sutton has suggested in in The Daily Record that that he has been impressed with defender Kieran Tierney’s performance for Celtic this season.
Tierney, who is 18 years of age and plays as a left-back, has enjoyed a breakthrough season this campaign and has been very impressive.
The Scotland international has played well in the Scottish Premiership, and he could become the first-choice left-back for Celtic next season.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has been impressed with the performances of Tierney and has sang his praises in The Daily Record.
The 19-year-old winger has played well for Ronny Deila’s side, and his talent and skills have impressed all those who have watched the Bhoys.
“Kieran Tierney has been the bright spot of the season,” Sutton wrote in The Daily Record. “Celtic have unearthed a real talent with the youngster and a new man in charge will be delighted to have him.
“Patrick Roberts is another who can be a key player next season. He’s looked the real deal in the last few months of the season and his goals on Sunday were superb.”
Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership title this season, and now their focus will be to qualify for the group stage of the 2016-17 Champions League campaign.
