Alex Mowatt has made 36 appearances for Leeds United this campaign, but he only scored twice.
Alex Mowatt has thanked Leeds United supporters for their backing throughout the season on Instagram.
Mowatt admitted that he had had ‘many ups and downs’ this term, after what has been a difficult campaign for the youngster.
"Thanks to everyone for the support again this season, home and away has been quality, many ups and downs see you all next season," he posted.

The attacking midfielder enjoyed a fine breakthrough year last term, where he hit 10 goals, but he, perhaps, hasn’t built on that as many were expecting.
Mowatt has been inconsistent this season, with flashes of brilliance combined with some poor performances.
The 21-year-old has made 36 appearances for the Whites, but he has only hit the back of the net twice.
When he posted the message on social media Leeds fans were quick to respond, though, with most encouraging him to come back stronger next season.

Mowatt is still regarded as one of Leeds’ brightest talents, and he accompanies Lewis Cook and Charlie Taylor as the fellow academy graduates in the Yorkshire side’s first team.
Leeds ended up finishing this season in 13th place in the Championship table, but they have expressed a desire to make it into the play offs next year.
