Manager Mauricio Pochettino has been praised for his work with young English talent, as players like Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Harry Kane have all thrived under his guidance, whilst other players like Joshua Onomah and Shayon Harrison have been touted for bright futures too.
This summer, Pochettino will need to add some proven talent for Tottenham's return to the Champions League, but he should also look to keep bringing in new English talent - and he appears to have set his sights on Charlton starlet Ademola Lookman.
The Daily Star claim that Tottenham are planing to bid £8m for Lookman this summer, after he emerged into the Charlton first team this season.
Lookman, 18, was still playing with Waterloo FC in 2014, but having been snapped up by Charlton, he has now become one of the Football League's hottest young talents.
With five goals in 24 games for Charlton this season, Lookman - who can play up front or out wide - has caught the eye, impressing with his pace in the process.
Given that Charlton have now been relegated to League One, Spurs are allegedly keen to take full advantage by moving for Lookman - though £8m may be seen as something of a steep price for an 18-year-old with little Football League experience.
