Queens Park Rangers have continued to track Henri Lansbury's progress at Nottingham Forest throughout the season.

According to a report in the Kilburn Times, Queens Park Rangers believe that Nottingham Forest’s Henri Lansbury would be the perfect fit for their midfield.

QPR are expected to part ways with the likes of Alejandro Faurlin and Karl Henry in the summer, leaving room for a new central midfielder to be purchased.

QPR have been linked with Lansbury, and they are reportedly continuing to track the former Arsenal trainee ahead of a potential summer move.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink apparently believes that Lansbury would be a fantastic addition to his squad, but the R’s realise they could struggle to sign the 25-year-old.

Burnley are also believed to be interested in signing Lansbury, after failing to secure his signature in January.

The Clarets pushed hard to sign Lansbury at the start of the year, but they believe their Premier League status should help convince him that a move to Turf Moor would be an appealing prospect.

QPR are also believed to be interested in signing Wycombe Wanderers defender Aaron Pierre in the summer, as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink makes a dramatic change to the club’s current transfer policy.
