Report: Everton yet to make approach for Rob Holding

Everton, Bournemouth, Celtic and Arsenal are all reportedly interested in signing Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers in the summer transfer window.

Everton have yet to make an approach for Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding, according to The Daily Mail.

According to a recent report in The Mirror, Everton are interested in signing the 20-year-old in the summer transfer window.

Premier League rivals Bournemouth are also reportedly monitoring Holding, but according to The Daily Mail, neither the Cherries nor the Toffees have made an approach yet for the highly-rated youngster.

Arsenal have made an approach for the Bolton youngster, claims The Daily Mail, with The Sun reporting of Scottish Premiership giants Celtic’s interest in the defender.

Holding has been on the books of Bolton his entire professional career so far and has a contract until June 2017.

Due to the Trotters’ relegation to League One, there is a very good chance that they will sell the promising defender if they get the right offer.

If Everton are genuinely interested in signing Holding, then they should look to move sooner rather than later.

Holding scored one goal and created four chances in 26 Championship appearances for Bolton this season.

The youngster had a pass accuracy of 68% and a shot accuracy of 36%, and won 64 headers, 21 dribbles and 23 tackles.
