The Bhoys are set for a summer of change, as manager Ronny Deila will leave the club, whilst a host of players will be leaving Celtic Park for pastures new.
Yet, despite there being little indication on who the new Celtic manager will be next season, it seems that the club's scouts are still on the road looking for potential transfer targets - and reports suggest a young, English defender is on their radar.
The Sun report that Bolton's Rob Holding is attracting interest, with Celtic scouts having watched his last eight games - and they have been left impressed by this performances.
Holding, 20, has been on the books at Bolton since 2004, and has emerged into Bolton's first-team this season, performing admirably at both centre back and right back.
With Bolton relegated to League One, Holding looks set to leave the club this summer, and it's claimed that the Trotters want a deal worth around £5m plus a loan-back agreement for their star defender.
Whilst Celtic may be interested, Bournemouth and Everton are also allegedly keen, and Arsenal are believed to have already submitted a bid for Holding.
The Gunners are leading the race, and a deal appears to be moving closer - but after scouting him so much over the last few weeks, we may yet see Celtic submit a late bid to sign the defender.
