Sunderland won against Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Sunderland duo DeAndre Yedlin and Lamine Kone have taken to social networking site Twitter to thank the fans for their support against Chelsea at home.

The Black Cats returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon with a 3-2 win against London outfit Chelsea at the Stadium of Light.

Sam Allardyce’s side twice came from behind to pick up all three points from the encounter and maintain their chances of staving off relegation to the Championship at the end of the season.

Yedlin, who is currently on loan at Sunderland from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, and Kone have thanked the club’s fans on Twitter.

Sunderland trio Fabio Borini, Ola Toivonen and Vito Mannone have also taken to Twitter to revel in the win.

Sunderland are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 36 matches. The Black Cats are a point above the relegation zone and have a game in hand.
