Celtic won their fifth Scottish Premiership title in a row today.
Stan Collymore, Trevor Sinclair and Adam Virgo are amongst the pundits to have congratulated Celtic on winning the Scottish Premiership for the fifth consecutive year.
Celtic secured their success by beating Aberdeen 3-2 at Parkhead earlier this afternoon.
The Bhoys were made to work hard for the three points, but they got over the line to continue an excellent period of dominance over Scottish football.
The news led to a great amount of praise coming on social media site Twitter, with Collymore, Sinclair and Virgo amongst those to send their best wishes.
Celtic’s title success has seemed inevitable for some time now, but it has still not been enough to keep Ronny Deila in the job.
The Norwegian boss has delivered the Premiership title in both of his seasons in charge, but he has failed to fully convince at Parkhead due to the Glasgow side’s failure to compete in European action.
Deila will now leave at the end of the season, after his current contract expires, with the likes of David Moyes and Neil Lennon amongst the favourites to take over.
