So poor... Derek Mountfield slates Everton's latest performance on Twitter

Everton lost 3-1 to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium yesterday.

Derek Mountfield has slammed Everton’s performance against Leicester City on social media site Twitter.

Everton were beaten 3-1 by Leicester yesterday, and they never threatened to spoil the party at the King Power Stadium.

From the moment the game kicked off, Leicester absolutely dominated proceedings, and they had 33 shots over the course of the match.

Leicester opened the scoring early on, when Jamie Vardy nipped in ahead of the Everton defence to convert a cross.

The Foxes then showed exactly why they were the Premier League champions, by pouring forward at every opportunity.

Leicester scored again through Andy King, before Vardy added his second to complete the scoring.

Vardy also missed a penalty, and Leicester could not convert a series of chances, which helped to save Everton from further humiliation.

The Toffees have now slipped down into 12th place in the Premier League table, and Mountfield was furious with his former side’s display.
