Matt Le Tissier questions Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech on Twitter

The Arsenal goalkeeper was beaten by Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne on Sunday.

Former Southampton striker Matt Le Tissier has questioned Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech on Twitter after Kevin de Bruyne’s goal for Manchester City.

In Sunday’s huge top four clash Cech was beaten by the Belgian’s shot from outside the box, giving the home side a 2-1 lead at the time.

It was a fine goal from the City midfielder, who has proved to be an impressive signing this season.

However, there were some questions about the role Cech played in the strike, with some believing he could have saved it.

Le Tissier was one of those, questioning the former Chelsea number one via social networking site Twitter.

It is not the first time Cech has been beaten from outside the box this season with this latest strike being the tenth time it has happened.

Indeed, that is now a league high, as he sits top of the table ahead of Crystal Palace’s Wayne Hennessey.

It is clearly something Arsenal's opponents may be looking to exploit, too, and a worrying sign that the veteran may not be quite as dominant as he once was.
