Burnley have gained promotion to the Premier League as champions of the Championship.
The Clarets have ended the 2015-16 Championship campaign with 93 points from 46 matches, four points clear of second-placed Middlesbrough.
Sean Dyche’s side confirmed their status as the Championship winners with a 3-0 victory over Charlton Athletic away from home at The Valley on Saturday afternoon.
Cooper, who has been on the books of Championship outfit Leeds since the summer of 2014, played with Arfield at Huddersfield Town and with Darikwa at Chesterfield.
The 24-year-old Scotsman has congratulated the Burnley duo on Twitter on winning promotion to the Premier League as Championship winners.
Meanwhile, Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on Adam Clayton winning promotion to the Premier League with Middlesbrough.
Boro have finished second in the Championship this campaign and will play in the top flight of Scottish football next season.
Clayton played an important role in Aitor Karanka’s side’s promotion, scoring one goal and creating 32 chances in 42 league matches.
The 27-year-old was on the books of Leeds from 2010 to 2012, but he did not make a huge impact at Elland Road.
