John Hartson has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate his former club Celtic on winning the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Celtic won the league title in the top flight of Scottish football with a 3-2 victory over Aberdeen at Celtic Park on Sunday evening.
Manchester City-owned winger Patrick Roberts scored twice for the Bhoys, as they clinched a fifth successive league triumph in Scotland.
Former Celtic striker Hartson has taken to Twitter to congratulate Ronny Deila’s side on their triumph, and so has Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley, who was on the books of the Hoops from 2010 to 2014.
Well done the Hoops championees !— John Hartson (@JohnHartson10) May 8, 2016
Celtic’s success in the Scottish Premiership should not have come as a surprise to anyone, as they were the favourites for the title right from the start.
The Bhoys have the strongest team in Scotland, and they will be expected to win the league title again next season.
Rangers, though, will be aiming to provide their Old Firm rivals with some competition. The Gers won the Scottish Championship title this season and will feature in the Scottish Premiership during the 2016-17 campaign.
