Southampton and Leicester City have been linked with Tonny Vilhena.

According to GianlucadiMarzio, Inter Milan are weighing up a move for Tonny Vilhena after the reported Southampton and Leicester City target was offered to the Serie A giants by Feyenoord.

The Italian publication claims the coveted Dutch under-21 international is to leave his club at the end of his expiring contract this summer and his agent has offered him to Inter who are mulling it over.

Vilhena has made more than 100 league appearances for Feyenoord despite his young age, and many are tipping the midfielder for big things in the future following his impressive displays.

A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with him, yet a recent report, the Daily Mail claimed both Southampton and Leicester City were at the front of the queue vying for his signature.

The Saints boss Ronald Koeman will know all about the player from his vast experience of the Eredivisie, while Leicester’s interest comes as little surprise due to their brilliant scouting network.

The Foxes have Champions League football to offer, and they are said to have monitored Vilhena for much of the campaign as they considered making a bid during the January transfer window.

The chance to join Claudio Ranieri’s Premier League winners would no doubt interest the player, yet amid fresh reports from Italy, both the Foxes and Southampton must act now if they remain keen on signing him.

Inter may not have had the best campaigns in Serie A, yet Roberto Mancini is building a squad to challenge at the San Siro and their new financial power makes them an intriguing proposition.
