Robert Huth promises fans he will go full kit for Leicester City title celebrations

The suspended defender says he will be doing a John Terry.

Leicester City will lift the Premier League title later today, after the game with Everton at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes have pulled off a miraculous season to win the title and the players will get a chance to lift the trophy tonight.

However, one player who will miss the game is defender Robert Huth.

The German has been fantastic for Leicester this season but after an incident involving Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini last weekend he has been suspended for three games.

Huth is therefore not going to be immediately kitted up to lift the trophy but he insists that he will be in the full kit.

He sent out this tweet earlier today:

He is of course referring to when John Terry, a former Chelsea team-mate, wore the full kit to celebrate winning the Champions League in 2012 despite being suspended for the game after being sent off against Barcelona.

It was a moment that saw Terry well mocked by fans but it seems Huth doesn’t care and he will be donning his full Leicester City kit for the celebrations, and it would be a brave man to mock him.
