Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle are all in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Newcastle played out a goalless draw with already relegated Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park.
Sunderland won 3-2 against last season’s Premier League champions at the Stadium of Light, and Norwich went down 1-0 to Manchester United at Carrow Road.
The results on Saturday afternoon means that Norwich and Newcastle are in the bottom three, and that a win for Sunderland will be enough to keep them safe.
Terrible day for Newcastle !! Had enough chances to win— Rob Lee (@7RobLee) May 7, 2016
