The Gers take on Hibernian in the cup final on May 21st after beating Celtic in the semi-final last month.
There is something of a concern for them ahead of the game, as the game comes three weeks after their last game of the domestic season.
Warburton has devised a schedule to ensure they’re fighting fit regardless of that break, but some have also questioned how he will motivate them.
The Rangers boss though, says that is a question that amazes him as his players are more than aware of the situation.
“I’m amazed when people say ‘How are you going to motivate the players after a break?’” he told rangers.co.uk.
“They are playing in a Scottish Cup Final at Hampden in front of a sell-out crowd.
Many players play their whole career and never get that opportunity, so all the boys are aware of what is involved.”
While questions are being asked about Rangers motivation, surely it will be their match sharpness that is the bigger issue.
The three-week gap between games is risky as it has the potential to knock them out of their stride before this final big game of the campaign.
Mark Warburton has guided them superbly through this promotion season though, and it would not be surprising to see him carry that on with a win over Hibernian in the final.
