The Tottenham chairman is excited for the future at Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur have ended the season empty-handed but it has been a fantastic campaign for the club.
They look set to finish above local rivals Arsenal in the Premier League table and pushed Leicester City all the way in the race for the title.
Now the club’s chairman has sent a message to the fans expressing his joy at the season and his excitement at the future of the club.
His message in the programme for tomorrow’s game with Southampton has been shared by the club’s official website in which he revelled in the club’s performances this season:
“A second season under Mauricio and his coaching staff has seen the team achieve far more than we had anticipated.
“It was a thrilling and passionate competition. At times our football has been simply sublime.
“A standout feature of this season has been the unity between players and you, our supporters.
“I firmly believe that this was a season when so much has come together.”
He also spoke about the future of the club, as Spurs continue on their build for a brand new stadium:
“With a blend of youth and experience we have seen a squad built for the future.
“After more than 15 years of land acquisition, nine years in design and planning, we finally have the permissions we need to realise our vision of delivering one of the finest stadiums in the world.
“We are building what we believe to be the foundations, literally and metaphorically, for the future of our Club.”
Of course he does not just mean the stadium when he speaks about the future of the club.
Spurs have an extremely young team with the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen still to have their best years in football.
Levy has had his critics at Spurs but in appointing Mauricio Pochettino and finally getting the stadium build off the ground he has truly got an excellent blueprint for the future at Spurs.
