Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Mousa Dembele’s six-match ban

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele has been banned for six matches for a controversial incident during the game against Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the six-match ban imposed on Mousa Dembele.

The Football Association has banned the Tottenham midfielder for six games with immediate effect for violent conduct during the match against Chelsea on Monday evening.

The 28-year-old appeared to eye-gouge Chelsea forward Costa during the Premier League match at Stamford Bridge in London. Referee Mark Clattenburg did not punish the Belgium international during the match.

Dembele is one of the best players at Tottenham and has been a key player for the North London outfit this season.

The former Fulham midfielder has scored three goals and created 28 chances in 29 Premier League appearances for Spurs this campaign.

The Belgium international has a pass accuracy of 90% and a shot accuracy of 56%, and has won 30 headers, 83 dribbles and 84 tackles.
