Deila is in charge of Celtic at the moment, but he will leave the Scottish Premiership giants at the end of the season.
Sviatchenko, who joined the Hoops from Danish club FC Midtjylland in the January transfer window, believes that the Norwegian could become the new manager of Brondby.
“I could see Ronny being a success at Brondby,” the Denmark international centre-back told Herald Scotland. “It’s a big club. Not compared to Celtic, but it is the biggest in Denmark, fan-wise as well. If that was reality, I think they’d be a good match.”
Sviatchenko has also revealed his conversation with fellow Denmark international Kasper Schmeichel, who has won the Premier League title with Leicester City this season.
"Leicester has done great in the Premier League and done something that people wouldn't imagine they could do," the 24-year-old told BBC Sport.
"Kasper Schmeichel will be staying there now and playing the Champions League. I congratulated him, I texted him, and he's a happy guy.”
Leicester’s triumph in the Premier League is one of the greatest stories in sports history, and it will probably be unmatched for years to come.
The Foxes do not have a great squad - on paper anyway - but their consistency and team spirit were key factors in the title triumph.
Claudio Ranieri’s side have automatically qualified for the 2016-17 Champions League campaign, while Celtic will have to play qualifiers in order to book their place in the group stage of Europe’s premier club competition.
