Leicester will take on Everton at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Foxes have already won the league title this season, and Saturday’s home match will be all about the players celebrating the triumph with their fans. Owen believes that Claudio Ranieri’s side will still win the match against Everton.
“Looking at the Leicester players celebrating on Twitter on Monday night, you could be forgiven for thinking that drink was about to be taken, so who knows how hard they have been partying this week,” the former England international wrote on Colossusbets.com. “But they will be keen to be professional and put on a winning show for their fans, and I take them to beat Everton 2-1.
“Regular readers will know what I think of Everton, but at least they arrested the slide against Bournemouth and their away record is bizarrely one of the better ones in the league with only three losses. But I see the Foxes celebrating in front of their own fans with a win.”
It will be a party atmosphere at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening, and the Leicester players will be looking to pick up all three points.
Everton, though, will be determined to win, as they can still finish in the top 10 of the Premier League this season.
Roberto Martinez’s side will head into the match against Premier League champions Leicester on the back of a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth at Goodison Park in the league.
