Manchester City will be looking to bounce back from the defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League with victory over Arsenal in the Premier League.

Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala has taken to social networking site Twitter to assure the fans that he and his teammates will bounce back from their Champions League disappointment.

City failed to get the better of Spanish club Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the prestigious European competition this season.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side lost the second leg of the tie 1-0 to Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday evening to go out 1-0 on aggregate.

The Citizens will return to action this weekend when they take on Arsenal at home in the Premier League.

With a top-four finish not yet guaranteed, City have to pick up all three points from the encounter at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening.

It will not be easy, though, as the Gunners are looking to finish above North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in second place.

Mangala has taken to Twitter to assure the City supporters that he and his teammates will continue to fight in the Premier League despite their disappointment in the Champions League.
