Liverpool have booked their place in the final of the prestigious European competition at the expense of Spanish club Villarreal.
The Premier League outfit won the second leg of the semi-final tie 3-0 at Anfield on Thursday evening to clinch the tie 3-1 on aggregate.
Former Liverpool attacker Pacheco, who is now on loan at Alaves from Real Betis, was following the match, and he was pleased with the Merseyside outfit’s progress.
The 28-year-old was also happy for his old side Sevilla, who have booked their place in the final of the Europa League as well, writing on Twitter: “Good final awaits us between two great teams.”

This is the third season in a row that Sevilla have progressed to the final of the Europa League. The Spanish club will head into the final at St. Jakob-Park in Basel as favourites, although Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will fancy their chances.
