Manchester City crashed out of the Champions League on Wednesday as they were knocked out by Real Madrid.
A Gareth Bale goal separated the two sides in the semi final, as they set up a clash with rivals Atletico Madrid in the final.
It was an all round disappointing display from City, who failed to register a single shot on goal in the game.
A look at his stats in the game show that the criticism was more than warranted as he struggled in several areas.
|Match||Total Scoring Att||Key Passes||Passing Accuracy||Won Tackle||Interception Won||Poss Lost All||Ball Recovery||Mins Played|
|Yaya Touré||Real vs Man City||0||0||82%||0||0||12||0||61|
As the table provided by Opta shows, the Ivorian once again struggled to make an impact in a big game for his side.
In total, he posted zero key passes as well as zero shots on goal throughout the game.
His defensive stats were equally poor as he registered zero tackles, zero interceptions, managed to lose the ball a staggering 12 times in total and didn’t win it back once.
The only positive was his overall passing, as he managed a pass success of 82%, in a display that will no doubt raise further questions about his City future.
