Hoilett’s contract at QPR is due to expire in the summer, and the London club have not been able to agree terms with the winger yet.
Hoilett is currently one of QPR’s top earners, and without top level football on offer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has found it hard to convince him to stay at Loftus Road.
Hoilett reportedly was of interest to both Borussia Mönchengladbach and Besiktas, but he is apparently on the verge of agreeing a move to Swansea.
The Welsh side have identified Hoilett as a player who could enhance their attacking ranks for next term.
Swansea and QPR have already done business recently, with Leroy Fer moving to the Liberty Stadium on loan back in January.
Hoilett has been at QPR since 2012, and over that time he has made 121 appearances for the London club, scoring on 13 occasions.
