Rangers supporters are eager to see Liverpool youngster Jordan Rossiter at Ibrox, after the Daily Mail ran reports of their interest in the midfielder yesterday.
Rangers have reportedly identified Rossiter was a potential new addition, as Mark Warburton’s side prepare for their return to the Scottish Premiership.
Warburton has so far targeted bringing in young players ever since taking charge at the Glasgow club, and it seems that his transfer strategy will remain the same.
Warburton has been highly successful with his recruitment at Rangers so far, and fans of the Light Blues appear to think Rossiter could be another successful addition.
Rossiter is regarded as one of Liverpool’s brightest prospects, but his lack of competitive action has concerned him.
The 19-year-old wants game-time, and he has refused to sign a new deal at Anfield, as a result.
Rossiter is said to be on the verge of a move to Glasgow now, and Rangers fans would welcome him to Ibrox with open arms - judging by the reaction to the rumours on social media site Twitter.
I'd imagine there will be competition, but Jordan Rossiter could potentially be a gem of a signing.https://t.co/WzY8kseYHu— Garry Carmody (@GarryCarmody) May 5, 2016
The move 4 Jordan Rossiter may not work out (as can any move) but its the 'type' that's absolutely up my street 4 how Gers build the squad— Sir M Elliott (@wee_mic) May 5, 2016
The fact we're being linked to someone like Jordan Rossiter shows how much has changed since Warburton has come in.— Willy (@SpatestonBear2) May 5, 2016
Jordan Rossiter would be a great move for Rangers.— Smit (@TheBigBlueBear6) May 5, 2016
Jotdan Rossiter is such a Warburton target - young with big potential, a bit lost, little to no fee and is a ball winner that we need— John McIntosh (@JohnMcIntosh19) May 5, 2016
The lad Rossiter from Liverpool would be a more than decent signing for @RangersFC Young, hungry player from good pedigree.— Neil Turner (@neil_t_75) May 5, 2016
If Rangers sign Jordan Rossiter I'll be stunned. Highly doubt he'd come up to Scotland but I suppose we did get Zelalem from Arsenal.— TheMightyBears (@TheMightyBears) May 5, 2016
