The Frenchman is said to be keen on a Premier League move this summer.
Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer.
The Frenchman has been linked with plenty of the top-flight’s biggest teams and last summer the Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas admitted he would need to consider a deal worth over £35 million, as reported by the Daily Mail.
So plenty of the Premier League big boys appear keen on the player, but should Leicester City try to flex some muscles and bring him in?
The Foxes have just won the Premier League title after a miraculous season under Claudio Ranieri and could be about to enjoy a big cash windfall.
Lacazette would be the perfect eye-catching signature.
He also had good things to say about Leicester earlier this season, telling The Telegraph in January:
“I like the atmosphere in the Premier League.
“Look at Leicester, who only came up two seasons ago and now when they play against the top four teams, the big four, they do not change anything in their game and play the same way. So it’s a very attractive league.”
Leicester need another striker if they are to have a good season in both the Premier League and Champions League next term.
Lacazette is a proven goalscorer in French football. He has found the back of the net 20 times in 42 games this season and last term scored 29 times in 37 games.
At £35 million he might be a bit pricey but if Leicester could manage to knock £10 million off that asking price than the Frenchman might be a top signature.
