The Flash

The film director will be back behind the lens for the hit CW show.

As reported by ComicBook.com, film director Kevin Smith will direct an episode of The Flash during the first half of season three.

The website reports that the news has been confirmed by Warner Bros. Television and that Smith will head to the set for an August shoot, suggesting the episode will be before the mid-season break.

Smith has previous on the show, having already stepped behind the camera during season two for an episode entitled The Runaway Dinosaur, and it will be interesting to see his plans for his second stint on The Flash.

Whatever happens, you can rest assured the show will be in safe hands with Smith behind the lens and it would be no surprise if this becomes something of a semi-regular occurrence if The Flash continues for a few seasons to come.

Smith’s directorial debut can be seen next week on The CW in the US and on Sky One in the UK.
