The midfielder was impressive for the under-21s against Chelsea this week.
The youngster has been in impressive form in the Everton youth ranks this season with a series of notable displays.
His best set arguably came earlier in the campaign as the 17-year-old midfielder captained the under 18 side to success in the Dallas Cup in America.
This week saw him rewarded for that by under-21 boss David Unsworth, as he was handed his chance to impress in a 0-0 draw with Chelsea that capped a fine season for the youngsters.
Baningme did not look out of place either, and Unsworth says his is a name that fans will be hearing a lot more of in future.
"It was Beni's first start for us and it was an outstanding display," he told evertonfc.com. "He's been like that all season for the Under-18s, which is great, and he's an exciting player and certainly a name you'll hear a lot more in the future."
The youngster will now be hoping he can establish himself in the youth ranks with an eye to breaking through to the first-team in future.
Everton are well known for handing youth a chance, and he will buoyed by the progress the likes of Ross Barkley, John Stones and more recently Brendan Galloway have enjoyed.
