The Arsenal midfielder has been named as the club's Player of the Month.
Mohamed Elneny has been named Arsenal player of the month for the second month running.
The Egyptian midfielder was once again in fine form as he helped his side to remain unbeaten and secure three wins out of six in the Premier League.
He won 40% of the votes from the Arsenal fans, coming in ahead of Alexis Sanchez in second and youngster Alex Iwobi in third.
And a look at his stats from across April show that he was a more than worthy winner of the award.
As the table provided by Opta shows, Elneny was heavily involved in the team as he dominated in several statistical areas.
|Accurate Pass||Passing Accuracy||Shots||Duel Won||Won Tackle||Interception Won||Poss Won Mid 3rd||Ball Recovery||Appearances||Mins Played|
The first of those is in passing, as he registered 542 in total, the most of any Arsenal player and 117 more than star man Mesut Ozil.
He also enjoyed an overall pass success of 94%, again the most of any Gunners star, although this time he was level with Laurent Koscielny.
Surprisingly he was also a danger going forward, with 11 total scoring attempts, the third most in the team.
Defensively though he really shone, posting 24 duels won, eight won tackles and 11 interceptions won.
He was also key to winning the ball back, doing so 11 times in the midfield third and posting 38 ball recoveries, the most of any Arsenal outfield player.
An impressive month from Elneny then, who continues to look like an astute capture by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
