Rangers manager Mark Warburton has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Burnley on getting promoted to the Premier League.
Burnley got the better of Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at Turf Moor on Monday evening to confirm their place in the top two of the Championship.
Warburton, who has experience of managing in the Championship with Brentford, is delighted for the Clarets.
The Rangers boss has praised Burnley manager Sean Dyche for his achievement. The Englishman has also congratulated Burnley duo James Tarkowski and Andre Gray, with whom he worked at Brentford.
Delighted for Sean Dyche and Ian Woan, tremendous achievement. Congrats also to Andre Gray and Tarky. Great job— Mark Warburton (@MarkWarburton9) 2 May 2016
Rangers themselves are having a great season and could end up with the treble.
The Glasgow giants have already won the Scottish Championship title and have gained automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers have also clinched the Scottish Challenge Cup and have progressed to the final of the Scottish Cup.
Rangers will take on Hibernian in the final of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow later this month.
