Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths says that he will back Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership playoffs.

Celtic striker Carlton Cole has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Leicester City on winning the Premier League title this season.

Tottenham Hotspur’s failure to win against London rivals Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening has handed the title to Leicester.

Former Chelsea and West Ham United striker Cole has congratulated the Foxes on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has revealed on the social networking site that he will back Scottish Championship outfit Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership playoffs.

Hibernian will take on Raith Rovers in the semi-finals of the playoffs, the first leg of which will be played at Stark's Park on Wednesday evening.

Griffiths played on loan for Hibs from Wolverhampton Wanderers from 2011 to 2013, and he has told 20-year-old forward Jason Cummings that he will back Alan Stubbs’s side in the playoffs.

Celtic are on the verge of winning the Scottish Premiership title this season. The Hoops are at the top of the league table at the moment with 80 points from 35 matches, nine points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.
