Sebastian Polter reacts on Twitter to QPR defeat, Tjaronn Chery explains absence

Queens Park Rangers lost to Burnley in the Championship on Monday evening.

Queens Park Rangers striker Sebastian Polter has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Burnley on Monday evening.

Rangers failed to return to winning ways in the Championship, as they went down 1-0 to Burnley away from home.

Sam Vokes’s goal just past the hour mark proved to be the difference between two sides at Turf Moor.

Polter, who started the match and played for 71 minutes, has thanked the QPR fans on Twitter for their support.

The 25-year-old German has also congratulated Burnley on gaining promotion to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Tjaronn Chery has explained on Twitter why he did not feature against Rangers.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Turf Moor, visitors Rangers had 49% of the possession, took 11 shots of which six were on target, and earned five corners.

QPR are 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 57 points from 45 matches.
