The Tottenham striker was suggesting his team were a pack of lions stalking their prey, Leicester City, as the title race intensified.

After Leicester City clinched the league last night, Jamie Vardy chose the perfect moment to hit back.

Vardy posted a picture of Mufasa from Disney's Lion King, at the moment he dies; with Tottenham's title dream ended by Chelsea this evening.

Spurs had led 2-0 at Stamford Bridge but were pegged back by the Blues, who secured a 2-2 draw, ensuring Leicester City were crowned champions.

Claudio Ranieri's side had been tipped for relegation by most pundits ahead of the season, with bookies offering huge odds on them winning the league. They have made all a laughing stock by confounding their doubters, with this incredible triumph.

Leicester players had gathered at Jamie Vardy's house to watch the game, and the celebrations are likely to have been going on all night...
